Awning Windows

For many years, the top hung or awning window has been a popular choice. However with Wittmont’s uniquely double-rebated frames, these windows are sealed tight against all weather conditions, ensuring your comfort and resulting in a more environmentally conscious choice than the less well-sealed windows of the past.

Using quality hardware and a chain winder, the Mullaloo Whitco range is ideal for a less direct channelling of the breeze. It is also well-suited to extremely windy conditions - such as in exposed coastal areas - as the sashes aren’t easily caught by the wind and the hardware is both reliable and resilient for year in, year out trouble-free operation.

This style is particularly popular in bathrooms and appears more private when combined with obscure glass. Another common use of the Mullaloo awning range is for clerestory windows and is also ideal for when the sash width exceeds the sash height.

Mullaloo Whitco windows are available with lockable chain winders for your security. Mullaloo Chainless windows are available with a smooth scissor-action winder (which are not lockable).

All Mullaloo windows come with an easily removable timber flyscreen. The screen is specially designed to drop into a rebate in the frame without the need for screws for effortless removal for cleaning purposes, or even in the winter months when it is not required.
